Animania events and conventions held its first event on 12th November 2010, gathering people from all across bahrain and the middle east that loves pop culture like video games, japanese animation, cosplay, movies, tv shows, professional wrestling, and comics.

Animania was the first event of its kind in the gulf that started a revolution in the world of pop culture events since 2010 animania holds conventions every year with the most successful being the 2018 event that was on 28 and 29 of September 2018 in bahrain international circuit with over 15,000 attending from bahrain and the middle east. Animania offers a wide range of programs for the fans attending like major video games tournaments with monetary prizes for the winners and cosplay competitions as well as worldwide celebrities attending a question and answer session and a meet and greet session for the fans for the first time in the history of the kingdom of bahrain and many more.
